Provence wedding photographer

Although it seems so long ago now the UK winters are looking bleak, back in the summer I had the privilege of being invited out to the south of France to photograph Max and Katie’s wedding at his family home. Driving around the area, particularly Gorge du Verdon, in the few days building up to the wedding, I was in awe of how beautiful this part of the world was. After living across the globe, it was clear to see why Max’s family settled in Provence. And although he now lives with Katie in Antibes, they both decided it was fitting to get married in the chateau Max spent so much time at growing up.

I don’t know what I was expecting, but their day surpassed anything I could have imagined – the ceremony took place at the end of the garden, under two of the most insanely beautiful trees I’ve ever seen. And the courtyard at the front of the chateau was the setting for the reception, which Katie designed to perfection.

It was such a pleasure to spend time with these amazing people in a place that holds so much emotional value to them and their families.
