It’s amazing when you speak to couples and connect with them instantly – when I arrived in Italy that’s exactly what happened during my conversation with Jonny and Ann Marie the day before their wedding. Ann Marie explained how at the beginning of their time planning the wedding, they were undecided on where hold it, Italy or Scotland. Two places very close to my heart. Jonny is also a super talented filmmaker back home in London and actually created the promotional video for Team Refugee at the Rio Olympics, which was featured on the front page of Google the day before the opening ceremony! He creates content with the focus being on meaningful connections and it was clear to see why this is his drive, when you saw how important his own personal connections were to him at the wedding.
The wedding itself was incredible; full of love, joy and tears throughout. With the beautiful hills of Tuscany as a backdrop, the day started at Villa Ostignano for the bridal prep before everyone headed over to San Regolo church in the charming little town of Montaione for the ceremony. Seriously, every street of Montaione is like the setting for a film and it was amazing to see Jonny and Ann Marie parading them in celebration once the ceremony was over. They then guided everyone back to the villa for some amazing Italian cusine under the stars, with a wild party to cap the day off in style.
Being invited out to places like this, and spending time with such wonderful people like this is always such an honour. Big thanks to Alice at Italian Style Weddings for planning this day to perfection.
